Steam for Mac is finally being released today, and "the first collection of Mac titles will demonstrate Steam Play, which allows customers to purchase a game once and play it on all Steam supported platforms."

Valve has announced that it will port the Steam engine and their Source graphics technology to the Mac platform, starting with Portal 2. The new Steam engine "includes a new service, called "Steam Play," with a novel feature that will allow users who work on the Mac platform to put down a game and then pick up where they left off on a PC version, or vice versa." |
